Glow Run Fundraiser
In 2018, a Bellingham-based design client asked me to donate branding materials—including a logo, poster, and save-the-date—for a fundraiser she was chairing. Hosted by Miles for Memories, the Glow Run raises money and awareness for Alzheimer’s disease through high-energy visuals and empathetic, educational messaging. This project was a meaningful opportunity to contribute to a cause close to my heart while creating vibrant, engaging designs. Happily, the event was a resounding success! Designed in Adobe Illustrator.

literally glowing
I utilized bright neon colors with a ‘glow’ effect to give the appearance of ‘glow sticks’ throughout the design. I was informed that glow sticks would be handed out during the event and afterparty.
save the date
Prior to the event, 5x7” ‘Save The Date’ cards were sent to sponsors & affiliated companies to promote the event and encourage registration.
matching logo
The double ‘M’ logo was intended to invoke visions of a track or roadway, as well as being a subtle reference to the devastating way in which Alzheimer’s erodes portions of the brain, namely memories.
